I cannot afford to be thrown off my spiritual practice anymore. Our time here is sacred and it's passing with every breath we take. I don't mean that is a scary way, it's just the truth and remembering that helps me stay present and grateful for being in this life, in this body, at this time. I am human, and it will happen.
So what do I do? Gabby once said "Living in these times without a spiritual foundation is going to be chaotic, its going to be horrifying, its going to make you feel that you need to run. You won't necessarily know what you're running from but you feel that you have to run" you will look outside yourself for peace and it'll never bring the peace you're looking for. At least that's been my experience.
Some things I do to get back aligned
I move my body even if its just walk brisk walk around the neighborhood
I get on my meditation pillow and/or my yoga mat - even if it's 5 minutes!
Practicing Spiritual Principles all throughout the day, and when I am not in alignment with my truth, I check myself before I wreck myself
I consume myself with spiritual podcast, audiobooks and talks throughout the day while I walk, drive and run from thing to thing
I check my breath throughout the day. Am I breathing? I'll take one deep breath and center back in.
I exercise as often as possible. For me, this is one of the fastest ways to connect to Spirit.
I try to reach out to other women as much as possible during the day whether that's texting asking how they are or talking to my co-workers about what's going on in their life.
I cuddle my dogs...duh
I call my mom and dad 😃
These are just some of the ways. The point is that you can get centered back in within just a few moments. Rosie Acosta, one of my favorite Podcasters always says"There are 1,440 minutes in the day, you can afford to sit for 5 of those to connect to YOUR spirit" Hope this helps. Love you all
